Family Tree Gift Plate
Diane individually personalizes each living family tree gift plate into a family gift worth passing down through the generations. Each person's family tree is hand-painted onto an 11" bone-colored plate from England. Family tree names are hand-lettered starting with a mother and father (names at the base of the tree), with branches for their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Each family tree member uses their first name and is put in birth order. Marriages include the spouse's name and remarriages with or without additional children can be included.
The family's last name with the words "Family Tree" is hand-written on the bottom plate rim. The top plate rim has " Our Family Tree is Rooted with Love". The tree itself looks like a watercolor painting. This plate is extremely detailed with a fine cross hatching technique, tiny hearts, butterflies, and shadowing that gives it a three dimensional look. This family tree gift will be a treasure to display in any home!
